PEDIATRIC EPILEPTOLOGIST

We’re seeking a pediatric epileptologist with expertise in epilepsy surgery to join our team of seven child neurologists in the Division of Pediatric Neurology within the JDCH Neuroscience Center. You’ll be a key contributor to a team that includes child neurologists with expertise in multiple sub-specialties, pediatric neurosurgeons, and a pediatric neuropsychologist.
You will evaluate and treat patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit, including those with intracranial recordings. You will interpret and report EEGs, including short- and long-term inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory EEG recordings, and those for critically ill patients. Your efforts will be supported by a full complement of pediatric specialists and services.
You must be Board Eligible/Certified in neurology with special qualification in pediatric neurology as well as BE/BC in epilepsy. You must also be skilled in presurgical evaluations and surgical planning within a multidisciplinary epilepsy management team. A passion for contributing to our breakthrough research initiatives is highly desirable.
